Questions
Things people ask before they hire us
How much does it cost to paint a room?
Most single rooms land between $450 and $1,200 depending on size, ceiling height, trim and how much prep the walls need. Exterior repaints on a typical Portland-area house usually run $4,500 to $9,000. We give an exact written number after a walkthrough, and that number holds.
Is the estimate really free?
Yes. We come out, look at the job, and send a written line-item estimate within 48 hours. No charge, no obligation, and no one calling you five times a day afterward.
Do I need to be home while you work?
Only for the first morning and the final walkthrough. Most customers give us a key or garage code for the rest, and we lock up every day.
What paint do you use?
Sherwin-Williams and Benjamin Moore lines matched to the surface: Duration or Emerald for exteriors, Regal or Cashmere for interiors. If you have a preference, we'll use it and price it accordingly.
How do payments work?
A deposit at signing to cover materials, then the balance at the final walkthrough. Larger jobs get a progress payment. Check, cash, Zelle or card.
Can you do the flooring and drywall before you paint?
Yes, and that's the point of offering them together. One crew, one schedule, one contract. We sequence it so the drywall is finished and sanded, the floors are in and protected, and the paint goes on last.
